Hey, hey!  I'm so glad you clicked on my page!  I'm Casey, wife to the best man in the world, Ben and mama of FOUR awesome little boys, Levi, Noah, Milo and Indi.  I have been behind the camera since 2012 and this business is my full time job!  My husband and I are worship leaders at our church and when I'm not doing all the things photography related, you can probably find me there!  I absolutely love my family and we are pretty much always together.  Our favorite thing to do is to "treasure hunt" and walk the beach for hours and we try to make that happen as often as possible!  The photo above is an image I took of us this summer in our favorite place.

I spent the better part of a year interning and working with the AMAZING Mandi Calhoun of Tiny Blessings Photography.  Working with her was nothing short of incredible and she poured so much of her knowledge into me during that time.  When she decided to retire, I was so blessed to be able to have the opportunity to pick up the torch and continue working with the sweetest babies and families and doing what I love.  I have spent the several years furthering my photography education my skills by attending workshops and mentoring with several amazing internationally known photographers.

So, why "The Little Rainbow?" 
My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2014, about three weeks after I gave birth to our second child. He was very sick and required treatment immediately and we were told by the doctors that the chances of being able to have another baby after chemotherapy were slim to none.  We were already blessed with two sweet boys and decided to move forward with chemo and put the rest in God's hands and trust that he would make a way, if  His plan for our life was to continue growing our family.  So, long story short... chemo, so many prayers, 4 years and a heartbreaking miscarriage later, we were blessed with our sweet rainbow baby, Milo.  And little did we know that in 2021, we would be blessed again with our fourth son, Indi! Hence the name, "The Little Rainbow."  Rainbows signify love and God's promises, and really... aren't all children just the absolute definition of love and promise? 

I opened my studio in 2019 and have been photographing the most amazing people since then! In December 2024, I opened up my new studio location just a block up from my old studio.  It's been amazing to be able to open up my vision to a larger space and is going to allow me to serve my clients even better than before.  My studio is full of high end props and outfits for newborns and small children.  I also have a client closet with thousands of dollars in designer gowns that is available to all of my clients for use during their sessions.  My studio is located in the beautiful and quiet, downtown Blackstone, Virginia.  This has truly been a dream come true for me and I am so blessed that the Lord has allowed me to be able to do what I love.  I am so blessed and it's such an honor to me to be chosen and trusted to provide beautiful memories for my clients that will last forever.

I specialize in portrait photography...  heirlooms.  Beautiful and timeless images that are meant to be on your wall!  All of the images chosen by my clients for their galleries are fine art edited and digitally hand painted to look amazing on your walls and in your album.  I want to give you more than facebook posts, I want to give your family art and memories... treasures that can be passed down for generations.

I have absolutely loved being on this journey and getting to know so many of you over the last several years and I cannot wait to meet new families in the days ahead!
